In the vicinity of the recent Knoxville Corvette Expo, I
personally encountered FOUR bogus 1967 Tripower models! Seldom does one discover such a bevy
of beautiful convertibles: Red, Yellow, Black and Blue. Strangely all has
Gray interiors. |

Upon closer examination I realized these were just another
cheap imitation of the real deal. Sadly, when I examined their provenance,
it became clear these were phony models and all were literally "Made
in China". These were Cleary Cheap Cheezy Chinese Conterfeit Corvette
Creations. I know they are not real TriPowers because the air cleaner points
the wrong way. |
