Why do you think Zip removed the Dr Rebuild name from these items that Dr Rebuild sold to Zip ?

The following table show prices for the Vaccum Hose Kits we sold to Zip between 1989 and 1992. It shows the former Dr REBUILD list price, the wholesale price we charged Zip and list price from the Zip catalog at the same time.

Zip claimed they removed the Dr Rebuild name from the above 1968 to 1982 Vacuum Hose Kits so that Zip's customers would know where they purchased these items. In 1989 if you purchased the 80-82 kit from Zip, you would have paid the same exact price as from Dr Rebuild. However if you purchased any other year, you would have paid 6 to 14 % more. In 1990 every kit at Zip was priced higher and you would have paid 6 to 15 % more. In 1991 and 1992 every kit at Zip was priced even higher than previously and you would have paid 10 to 20 % more. During this time period Dr Rebuild did not raise the list prices, nor the prices that Zip paid. Why do you think Zip removed our name from the kits?
