 Wednesday the
#3 C6R Corvette had the rear window, rear wheel wells and
body skin panels removed. |
|

 |

 |
|
|
 Thursday I
noticed the same body panels removed and also the two transmissions (?)
on the checker board matting in the foreground. |
|
|
 During the
race the #3 C6R Corvette had to go behind the pit
wall to the team Corvette paddock to have some work done
on the trans. Ron Fellows: "I left the pits and
as I was going around Turn 3, it felt like the back of the car locked up.
Coming around Turn 5, the rear tires locked up and I spun into the dirt.
There was no fourth gear, and then it stuck in fifth." |
