After an absence of 30 plus years Roger Penske
was again a participant in the 12 hour event. He has a two car team of
brand new Porch Spyder models that raced in the ALMS class LMP2 or LeMans
Prototype 2. They were considered to be a legitimate threat to win overall,
beating the faster, lighter, more powerful LMP1 class models. They were
fast, but they did not last. And at Sebring, 12 hours is a long time to
drive a car 100+ MPH. One finished 8th overall, the other 18th. |

I think this was
Roger Penske's bus. It was in the Paddock next to two semi
race car haulers. Note that at Sebring, motorcycles, ATV's and personal
off road vehicles like golf carts are not permitted. |

Nice flares on the
front wheel lips to accommodate the 22 1/2 inch tires. I like those chrome
dome hub caps too. Although I did not see him, I do believe this to be
Roger Penske's bus. |

These rear fenders
also sport flares and full skirts too. |
