March 2006 Sebring, FL La

Part of the attraction to Sebring is watching how racers
cope with uncertainty and how Walter Mitty does over 4 days of practice,
qualifying and the actual race. |

La Bomba Racing
making a pit stop. They hark back to the days
of olde when the race car driver brought along his riding mechanic, (family,
wife, children, mother, father, uncles, aunts and second cousins). Remember,
no pets allowed at the race track. |

|
The driver has a short
sleeve Green uniform and tan shorty helmet. Looked like late C4 five spoke
wheels, but I'm not certain. |

|
Note the pink neon
LED racing lights outline the sleek body of this unknown model year cabriolet
model. |
|
|
During night practice
sessions you could always tell when La Bomba Racing was doing
a lap. Kind of reminded me of a 1957 Chevy that mated with an early 1920's
Yosemite park tour bus. I don't know it's final finishing position. On
the fun meter class, it was #1 overall. It was very quiet. |
